Microsoft distinguishes itself worldwide by the enviable spirit of its employees: they work enthusiastically and much. The employees’ solidarity, however, is so distinct that it is a tightrope walk between unconditional enthusiasm and exhaustion burnout.
A central element of the Microsoft’s HR strategy is creating a work/life balance. The Microsoft Switzerland management therefore decided to initiate a corporate health promotion program in spring 2007. A project team consisting of Microsoft and fit im job project leaders consequently defined the following milestones:

1. Developing corporate health promotion label «MyHealth».
2. The target is to reach as high as possible by wasting as little as possible.
3. The answers of the fit im job-healthReport®.
4. Stress & burnout management for the Executives.
5. Relaxation & sleep management for everybody.

Result: More efficiency, concentration and relaxation ability

80% of the participants report an improved ability to concentrate and relax. Today, the Swiss corporate health promotion project is regarded as the trend-setting program for Microsoft International.
